At Jubilant Speech Therapy Singapore, our private speech therapist provides a range of assessment and speech therapy services for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. For adults, these difficulties generally arise from various medical conditions. A Speech Therapist will conduct a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your condition. This would include obtaining a thorough case history, reviewing past medical records and a clinical examination. Please note that you may be advised to consult other healthcare professionals to complete further evaluations and/or investigations to ensure holistic and targeted management of the conditions. Rehabilitation for adults is highly individualized in consideration of the clinical conditions, personal goals and long-term outcomes.
Individualised swallowing rehabilitation exercises (swallowing therapy) or communication practice (e.g., speech and language rehabilitation tasks)
Diet/fluid modifications, strategies to optimise communication effectiveness etc.
Covers a diverse range of topics such as safe swallowing strategies, diet/fluid preparation, modes of communication, how to assist in conducting swallowing rehabilitation therapy exercises prescribed by your private speech therapist at home
